About Aalto University
Aalto University is building its strategy on research and artistic excellence as well as multidisciplinary collaboration within the university and with key academic and business partners. Our goal is to become one of the world’s top universities for new sustainable technologies, innovative business development and entrepreneurship. We are striving to become the place to be for future game changers, whether faculty or students.
We educate bachelors, masters and doctors in the fields of science and technology, business and economics, arts, design and architecture. We also offer open university studies as well as continuing and executive education.
At Aalto University, students can affect the content of their studies. Students have come up with ideas for major projects, such as the Startup Sauna, which encourages entrepreneurship. The goal is to educate responsible, independent experts who have a clear understanding of the bigger picture.
The strength of Aalto University research is based on the collaboration and individual areas of expertise of the six leading schools in their respective fields.
